Gabrielle Légeret is the founder of De l’or dans les mains, an organization dedicated to reintroducing hands-on activities into school curricula. She is the recipient of the Fondation de France’s Objectif Déclic Jeunes Award, the Gabriel Award from Live for Good, and was named one of Les Echos’ “Leaders with a Positive Impact Under 35” and a “Woman of Culture 2025.” In 2023, she was commissioned by Rima Abdul-Malak, Minister of Culture; Gabriel Attal, Minister of National Education; and Olivia Grégoire, Minister Delegate for Trade, Crafts, and Tourism, to lead the youth component of the arts and crafts plan. In 2025, she edited the book *En finir avec les idées fausses sur les métiers manuels et l’artisanat* (Putting an End to Misconceptions About Manual Trades and Crafts), published by Éditions de l’Atelier, a collective advocacy piece co-authored with 46 other writers.
